How much does Medicine at CEU Cardenal Herrera cost?
At CEU UCH the price depends on the campus: each publishes its own 2026/27 fee PDF for new students. The first year adds up four items: the place reservation (€2,000 on all three campuses), registration, the file-opening fee (€750) and tuition for 60 credits, paid in nine monthly instalments from October to June.

| Castellón, in Spanish | €2,000 + €2,300 + €750 | €13,800 (€230 a credit; €1,533.33 a month) | €18,850 |
| Elche, in Spanish | €2,000 + €2,750 + €750 | €15,000 (€250 a credit; €1,666.67 a month) | €20,500 |

The reservation is paid on admission; registration and the file fee between 1 July and 15 September, except in the bilingual group, where all three are paid together on admission. New students not resident in Spain also pay a compulsory €600 Hospitality Pack. 2027/28 prices are not published yet.
Campuses
Valencia, Castellón or Elche: where to study Medicine at CEU UCH
Medicine runs in three groups. Spain's university register (RUCT) gives 50 places in Valencia (Spanish and English), 70 in Castellón and 50 in Elche (Spanish); the degree page gives the same figures for Castellón and Elche.
CEU UCH's three Medicine groups
| Campus | Language | Places | First year 2026/27 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Valencia (Alfara del Patriarca) | Bilingual English/Spanish | 50 | €22,350 |
| Castellón | Spanish | 70 | €18,850 |
| Elche (Alicante) | Spanish | 50 | €20,500 |
The entrance exam (EPAM, or EPOAM online) is the same for all, and on the form you rank Medicina and Medicine/Bilingual: a place in your second choice puts you on the waiting list for your first. Elche is the new group, authorised on 1 July 2026; its rules also require passing the June Selectividad/PAU (the grade is not weighted). For 2027/28 it is not yet published whether Elche joins the regular EPAM sittings: the university expects to open the process in November 2026.

Valencia is one of Spain's more affordable large cities, on the Mediterranean coast.
FAQ
CEU Cardenal Herrera admissions FAQ
Partly. The degree runs as Spanish-taught groups in Castellón and Elche and a bilingual English-Spanish group in Valencia, taught in English for the first two years and part of the third. The admission test is set in Spanish, with an English version for candidates who don't speak Spanish. On the bilingual group you need at least B1 English, and 5% of the admission score comes from your English level.
Yes. Every Spanish private medical school in our catalogue runs its own written knowledge test, typically biology and chemistry, often with physics, mathematics or English added. Format, length and delivery (online or on campus) differ by school; this guide covers the one your target university runs.
Not at any school that publishes a rule. CEU Cardenal Herrera, Universidad de Navarra, CEU San Pablo, CEU Fernando III and UIC Barcelona all state that a wrong answer costs nothing. Alfonso X el Sabio and Católica de Valencia publish no marking rule at all, so confirm theirs directly.
Only for specialist training. The MIR is Spain's mandatory national exam for residency places. It sits alongside, not instead of, the automatic EU recognition your degree already carries as a Spanish-issued medical qualification.
Yes, it's the 2027 edition, built from the latest admission rules Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera has published. Where a 2027 date or detail isn't published yet, confirm it with the university before you rely on it.
