SSST Entrance Exam at a glance
Overview
What is the SSST Medicine Entrance Exam?
The Sarajevo School of Science and Technology sets its own entrance exam for its English-taught Medicine and Dentistry programmes. It is not one paper but three components sat on the same day: a 90-minute English Language paper, then one combined Biology/Chemistry/Physics test of 90 minutes, then a Candidate Interview lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Everything is delivered in English, the day starts at 10:00, and the venue is the university campus at Hrasnička cesta 3a in Sarajevo, with an online procedure available for candidates resident outside Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The structure around the exam is more forgiving than most in this catalogue, and that should shape how you approach it. SSST publishes around a dozen sitting dates spread across the year, roughly April to September, and will also arrange an individual date on request. Results and the final decision arrive by email within five days. And candidates have an explicit right to re-sit. Together those three facts make any single sitting far lower-stakes than a once-a-year national test, though they are not a reason to arrive unprepared, because new applicants may apply for a scholarship if they have an excellent school record, pass the entrance exam and score well at the interview (SSST's posted due dates are from 2020), so the first sitting carries a financial consequence as well as an admissions one.
Be clear about which parts of this exam SSST actually publishes, because the balance is unusual. The English component is documented in detail: it is scored out of 100 as Grammar 40, Reading 20, Essay 20 and a separately held Oral 20, with a published pass mark of 61%. The combined science paper is documented far less: SSST publishes no item count, no split between biology, chemistry and physics, no science pass mark, no statement on whether a wrong answer is penalised, and no calculator policy. What it does publish is practice material: a 150-item Biology bank and a 15-question Biology sample, a 150-item Chemistry bank, a 45-item Physics set, and eight of its own entrance exams from 2014, four in Biology and four in Physics. This guide's syllabus is built from reading the two banks and two of the Physics papers in full. SSST publishes no science question count, so none is given below; treat every marking figure as IvyTest's working estimate, clearly labelled as one, and confirm with admissions@ssst.edu.ba before you build a pacing plan on it.

SSST does not run one fixed exam date. It publishes around a dozen sittings across the year and will arrange an individual date on request, so there is no single deadline to count down to; the practical question is which sitting you book, not whether you have missed one. No 2027/2028 material had been published as of a direct re-check of ssst.edu.ba on 12 October 2026. Every sample PDF, including SSST's own 2014 Biology and Physics entrance exams, is linked directly from the Entrance Exams page.
Structure
SSST Entrance Exam format
Three components in one day. The durations below are SSST's published figures; the question counts are not published for any of the three sciences, so those cells are left blank rather than filled with an estimate. Both written papers run 90 minutes, as SSST's Entrance Exams page states.
| Section | Questions | Weighting | Suggested time |
|---|---|---|---|
| English Language paper | SSST publishes no item count. Its sample paper carries roughly eleven short grammar tasks and about fifteen reading items (evidence of shape, not a fixed structure). The Entrance Exams page states 90 minutes, and that is the duration to prepare for. An older, undated English Language Entrance Exam Guide and its sample paper header mention up to two hours for the 80-mark written part | Scored out of 100: Grammar 40, Reading 20, Essay 20, Oral 20 | 90 minutes |
| Biology (inside the combined science paper) | 1see the note below the table | 1see the note below the table | Shares one 90-minute paper with Chemistry and Physics |
| Chemistry (inside the combined science paper) | 2see the note below the table | 2see the note below the table | Shares one 90-minute paper with Biology and Physics |
| Physics (inside the combined science paper) | 3see the note below the table | 3see the note below the table | Shares one 90-minute paper with Biology and Chemistry |
| Candidate Interview | 0 (a conversation, not a paper) | SSST publishes no marking scheme, weighting or threshold for the interview, and no question list or competency framework | 30 to 45 minutes |
- Not published by the university: SSST publishes neither an item count nor the split between the three sciences. Its published Biology bank runs to 150 items, every one with four options labelled A to D; its 15-question Biology sample uses five (A to E), and its four 2014 Biology exams mix four- and five-option items with a matching task
- Not published by the university: no item count or science split. SSST's published 150-item Chemistry bank is the most format-varied part of the exam: most items carry four options a) to d), fifteen also carry a fifth option e), some are combination items listing four numbered statements, and a handful are classification tasks with no options at all
- Not published by the university: no item count or science split. SSST's five published Physics papers differ: its 45-item set for General Medicine and Dentistry uses five options A to E, and its four 2014 exams use three to five, the 25-item June 2014 paper only three. Prepare for five
Content
Question and subject breakdown
Five components to prepare, and only one of them has a published weight. SSST states the internal 40/20/20/20 split of the English paper and its 61% pass mark, and states nothing about how the English paper, the science paper and the interview weigh against each other in the final decision.
English Language
SSST publishes no overall weighting between the three components. What it does publish is this paper's internal split (Grammar 40, Reading 20, Essay 20, Oral 20, out of 100) and its 61% pass markA separate 90-minute paper sat before the science test, and the only component in the whole process with a published threshold. Grammar is the largest single block at 40 marks and is mostly production rather than multiple choice (rewrite, transform, correct, complete), so it cannot be practised purely by picking options. The 20-mark Oral is held separately, as a 10 to 15 minute conversation with a member of the English Faculty.
Biology
Not published by the university: SSST states no split between the three sciencesExamined inside the single 90-minute combined science paper. SSST's own published bank runs to 150 items, all four options A to D, and mixes definitional recall with mechanistic items and applied stems that capitalise FIRST and MOST, meaning several options are true and only one is the immediate answer. Read those stems carefully; they are the bank's signature difficulty.
Chemistry
Not published by the university: SSST states no split between the three sciencesShares the combined paper. Format-wise it is the least predictable section of the exam: four-option items, five-option items, combination items listing four numbered statements, and classification tasks with no options at all where you write the answer. Several items require reading a drawn structural formula and naming it or computing its molecular mass. Note that Pharmacy applicants sit a separate, longer Chemistry paper, which this guide does not cover.
Physics
Not published by the university: SSST states no split between the three sciencesThe most calculation-heavy part of the exam, with a substantial minority of items carrying a figure. SSST's 45-item set for General Medicine and Dentistry uses five options A to E. One scope note worth acting on: electric charge, resistance and resistors in circuits appear in SSST's 2014 papers, so treat them as examinable, but none of its five published Physics papers contains magnetism or electromagnetic induction, and this guide's syllabus follows that.
Candidate Interview
SSST publishes no marking scheme, weighting or threshold for the interviewOfficially the third part of the entrance exam, lasting 30 to 45 minutes. It is not a science viva, and it is not the same thing as the 10 to 15 minute oral inside the English component: that one tests language, this one tests suitability for medicine. SSST publishes no competency framework, so prepare against the themes common to medical-school admissions interviews rather than a document.
Marks
SSST Entrance Exam scoring
One threshold is published and it is worth understanding exactly: 61% on the English component. Everything else about the marking (the science pass mark, whether a wrong answer costs anything, how the three components combine) is not published, and this guide says so rather than filling the gaps.
- English Language total
- 100 marks: Grammar 40, Reading 20, Essay 20, Oral 20
- English pass mark
- 61% (61 of 100)
- English written part
- 80 of the 100 marks (Grammar 40 + Reading 20 + Essay 20); the remaining 20 come from the separately held Oral
- Science pass mark
- Not published. SSST states no threshold for the combined Biology/Chemistry/Physics paper
- Correct answer
- Not published. IvyTest models +1 as an estimate, the commonest and the neutral assumption
- Incorrect answer
- Not published. IvyTest models 0 as an estimate. SSST states nothing either way about a penalty for a wrong answer
- Unanswered question
- Not published. IvyTest models 0 as an estimate
- Answer options
- Not fixed across the exam: Biology is four (A-D) throughout its 150-item bank and five (A-E) in its 15-question sample, the 45-item Physics set is five (A-E) and the four 2014 Physics papers three to five, and Chemistry mixes four, five, combination and no-option items
- Component weighting
- Not published. SSST's 2026/2027 call says candidates are selected on their entrance-exam results and their grades in the subjects relevant to the programme, but it gives no weights, and SSST does not state how the English paper, the science paper and the interview weigh against each other
- Interview scoring
- Not published; no marking scheme, weighting or threshold for the 30-45 minute Candidate Interview
- Reserve questions
- None published. SSST's equivalent safety net is procedural instead: around twelve sittings a year, individual dates on request, results within five days, and an explicit right to re-sit
- Calculator
- Not published. Prepare to calculate by hand: the Physics items are the most calculation-heavy on the paper

Full SSST Entrance Exam syllabus
SSST publishes no formal subject syllabus. Every topic list below is derived from SSST's own published practice material read in full (a 150-item Biology bank, a 150-item Chemistry bank and two Physics papers of 45 and 25 items; its Entrance Exams page also links further 2014 Biology and Physics exams and a 15-question Biology sample), plus, for English, the official English Language Entrance Exam Guide and sample paper. The interview group is recommended preparation structure, not an SSST document, and is labelled as such. Everything is examined in English.
Most of the Grammar section is production rather than recognition (you rewrite, transform, correct and complete rather than pick an option), so practise producing the forms, not just identifying them.
- The verb system: rewriting sentences in the negative written out in full, answering questions in full sentences using a given verb, present simple versus present continuous, present perfect versus simple past, building simple-past questions that fit a given answer, supplying past, -ing and past participle forms, modals and semi-modals, conditionals, the passive, gerunds and infinitives, subject-verb agreement

- Oral English exam: a 10 to 15 minute conversation with a member of the English Faculty worth 20 of the 100 English marks, covering background, education, academic strengths and weaknesses, motivation and study goals, assessed on fluency, accuracy and range rather than on the content of your answers
Derived from SSST's published 150-item bank, which is four options A to D throughout.

SSST publishes no competency framework and no question list. This grouping is recommended preparation structure built from themes common to medical-school admissions interviews, not an official SSST document.
- Format and core competencies: the six things an interviewer listens for (motivation for medicine, academic maturity, communication, empathy, professionalism and self-awareness), how this 30 to 45 minute interview differs from the English oral, a four-part answer framework of direct answer, example, reflection and connection, and assembling evidence for each competency in advance
- Motivation and personal profile: why medicine, why SSST and why study in English, given specifically rather than generically, a sixty-second personal introduction, strengths and credible weaknesses with an improvement plan, an achievement you are proud of, specialty interests, and a realistic picture of the profession
- Study skills and resilience: how you study difficult scientific material, organising a heavy workload across a six-year degree, handling stress before and during exams, an example of academic resilience, and reflecting honestly on a mistake and what changed afterwards
- Teamwork and professionalism: a time you worked in a team, handling conflict or disagreement with a colleague, responsibility, honesty and punctuality, an example of helping someone, and why inventing clinical experience is a professionalism failure rather than merely a risky tactic
- Medical ethics: what empathy means in practice, patient confidentiality and its limits, dignity and privacy, informed consent, honesty with patients, fairness in access to healthcare, breaking bad news, and discussing a contested issue calmly and from more than one side
- Healthcare awareness: the qualities that make a good doctor, challenges facing doctors today, one current healthcare issue understood at a basic level, doctor-patient communication, and the difference between what a school leaver can reasonably claim to understand and what they cannot

How difficult is the SSST Entrance Exam?
SSST's difficulty is not concentrated in the science. It is spread across a long day with four assessed skills, only one published threshold, and a format that genuinely varies from section to section.
English is a gate, not a formality
61% is the only published pass mark in the entire process, and it applies to the English component. Two-thirds of that component (the 40-mark Grammar block and the 20-mark Essay) are production tasks rather than multiple choice, which is a different skill from anything the science paper asks for. Candidates who treat the English paper as a warm-up are the ones it catches.
Three sciences, one 90-minute paper, no published split
Biology, chemistry and physics share a single paper and SSST publishes neither an item count nor a breakdown between them. That rules out a rational decision to over-weight one science. It also means your pacing has to be flexible on the day rather than pre-planned to a section boundary that may not exist.
The option count is not fixed, and that is not a typo
SSST's own published Biology bank is four options throughout. Its 45-item set for General Medicine and Dentistry uses five options A to E. Its Chemistry bank mixes four-option items, fifteen five-option items, combination items listing four numbered statements, and classification tasks with no options at all. Practising only four-option multiple choice leaves you unrehearsed for the formats that actually appear in chemistry.
Two different oral assessments, assessed for different things
There is a 10 to 15 minute oral inside the English component, worth 20 of the 100 English marks and assessed on fluency, accuracy and range. Then there is a separate Candidate Interview of 30 to 45 minutes, assessing suitability for medicine. Preparing one and assuming it covers the other is a common and avoidable mistake: the first is a language test, the second is not.
Twelve sittings lower the stakes, but not for scholarships
Around a dozen dates a year, individual dates on request, results within five days and an explicit right to re-sit make any single sitting recoverable. The exception is money: new applicants may apply for an SSST scholarship if they have an excellent school record, pass the entrance exam and score well at the interview (SSST's posted due dates are from 2020), so a weak first attempt can cost you the chance of funding even where it does not cost you a place.
Benchmarks
What is a good SSST Entrance Exam score?
SSST publishes no science pass mark, no applicant volume and no acceptance rate (its 2026/2027 call gives only the places: 70 for General Medicine, 30 for Dentistry), so there is no cutoff to benchmark against and any figure quoted elsewhere is an estimate rather than a university number.
The one number you can actually target is the English component's 61%. Work that in the paper's own units (marks out of 100, not percentage points of accuracy on a set of items), because the two are easy to confuse and the essay and oral are not scored per item at all. A candidate who is at 55 marks and wants to be at 65 is looking for ten marks out of a hundred, and the cheapest place to find them is almost always the Grammar block, which is worth 40 marks on its own and rewards drilling more than the Essay or the Oral do.
On the science side, because SSST publishes neither an item count nor a pass mark, treat your practice scores as a percentage of the items you attempt rather than as a score out of an assumed total. The honest way to track progress here is per-statement accuracy by subject (what fraction of biology items you get right, what fraction of chemistry, what fraction of physics), plus the time you take per item. That survives SSST changing its item count in a way that a raw score out of an invented 30 does not. And use the re-sit structure deliberately: book an early sitting once your practice accuracy is stable, treat the result as real data rather than a rehearsal, and book a second if the emailed feedback justifies one.

How to prepare for the SSST Entrance Exam
Four assessed skills, four workstreams
English production, three sciences at comparable depth, and interview evidence collected early.
- Sit a diagnostic in week one covering both an English paper and a mixed science set, and email admissions@ssst.edu.ba the same week to confirm the calculator policy and whether wrong answers are penalised: both change how you practise.
- Give English its own weekly slot from the start, weighted to Grammar: it is 40 of the 100 English marks, it is production rather than recognition, and it is the single biggest block of improvable marks in the whole process.
- Rotate biology, chemistry and physics weekly at comparable depth: no split between them is published, so a deliberate imbalance is a bet. Practise chemistry specifically in its varied formats, including combination items and no-option classification tasks.
- Start collecting interview evidence in week one rather than week eleven: concrete examples for motivation, teamwork, resilience, professionalism and an ethics topic you can discuss from more than one side. Book a full 90-minute timed science paper every fortnight from week six.
Clear 61% first, then work the sciences
Securing the only published threshold, then spreading time evenly across three sciences.
- Score a full English paper in week one against the real 40/20/20/20 split and find out exactly how many marks you are from 61; then target the Grammar block first, because that is where the marks are cheapest.
- Split the remaining time roughly evenly across biology, chemistry and physics, and inside physics prioritise the calculation-heavy areas: kinematics, dynamics, fluids and circuits carry most of the numerical items.
- One full timed science paper a week from week two, reviewed the same day, tracking accuracy per subject rather than one combined score.
- Rehearse both oral components separately: a 10 to 15 minute English conversation assessed on fluency and range, and a 30 to 45 minute interview assessed on suitability for medicine. They are not the same rehearsal.
Full timed sittings, in the real order
Volume of complete practice days, with the English paper always first.
- Two full practice days a week, run in the real sequence: 90-minute English paper, then 90-minute combined science paper, then a mock interview. Stamina across a long day is a real variable here.
- Answer every science item in every practice paper: a blank is never better than a guess under any marking scheme SSST plausibly uses, and the habit needs to be automatic before exam day.
- Drill the chemistry formats specifically: structural-formula reading, combination items with four numbered statements, and the classification tasks that have no options at all.
- Choose your sitting date. With around a dozen a year and an explicit right to re-sit, booking early enough to have a second attempt available is a strategy, not a fallback.
Protect the English pass, then triage the sciences
The published threshold first, consolidation second.
- Put the largest share of remaining time into English, and inside English into Grammar: 61 of 100 is the one hard number in the process, and Grammar is the fastest 40 marks to move.
- Stop adding new science content; consolidate the highest-frequency areas across all three sciences rather than trying to finish any one of them.
- Sit at least two full practice days in the final ten days, in the real order, then taper.
- Confirm the logistics: a 10:00 start at Hrasnička cesta 3a in Sarajevo, or the online procedure if you are resident outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, and prepare to calculate by hand since no calculator policy is published.

Past papers
SSST Entrance Exam past papers
The Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) publishes past papers. Its Entrance Exams page links four of its own Biology entrance exams from April and May 2014 (30 questions, 90 minutes each, ending with a matching task) and four Physics entrance exams from May and June 2014 (16 to 25 questions), as free PDFs without an answer key. The same page links a 15-question Biology sample, 150-question Biology and Chemistry practice sets, a 45-question Physics set and four English Language sample papers. In 2014 Biology was a separate 90-minute test; today it shares one 90-minute paper with Chemistry and Physics. The practice questions on this page are IvyTest's own.
IvyTest is writing a free practice paper in today's SSST Entrance Exam format, with every answer explained.

FAQ
SSST Entrance Exam frequently asked questions
It is the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology's own admission process for its English-taught Medicine and Dentistry programmes, three components sat on the same day: a 90-minute English Language paper, one combined Biology/Chemistry/Physics test of 90 minutes, and a Candidate Interview lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Everything runs in English, starting at 10:00.
No. There is no shared national medical entrance exam behind it. SSST is a private university that sets and administers its own process, and its three-component structure (a separate English paper, one combined science paper and a suitability interview) is different in shape from the pure-science papers most schools in the region run.
On site by default, at University SSST, Hrasnička cesta 3a in Sarajevo, starting at 10:00. An online procedure exists for candidates resident outside Bosnia and Herzegovina. The calculator policy is not published, so prepare to calculate by hand: the physics items are the most calculation-heavy on the paper.
The English component is scored out of 100 as Grammar 40, Reading 20, Essay 20 and Oral 20, with a published pass mark of 61%. For the combined science paper, SSST publishes no item count, no pass mark and no statement about whether a wrong answer is penalised. IvyTest models +1 for a correct answer and 0 otherwise, and labels that an estimate. Either way, answer everything: with no penalty a random guess is worth +0.25 raw marks on a four-option item, and even under the standard correction-for-guessing penalty it would be worth exactly 0: neutral, never negative. A blank is never the better option.
It genuinely varies, and SSST does not fix one count. Its 150-item Biology bank is four options A to D throughout, while its 15-question Biology sample uses five, A to E. In Physics, its 45-item set for General Medicine and Dentistry uses five options A to E, and its four 2014 papers use three to five. Its Chemistry bank is the most varied: most items carry four options a) to d), fifteen also carry a fifth option e), some are combination items listing four numbered statements, and a handful are classification tasks with no options at all where you write the answer yourself.
One pass mark is published, and only for English: 61% of the 100-mark English component. There is no published pass mark for the combined science paper, none for the interview, and no published statement of how the three components weigh against each other; SSST's 2026/2027 call says only that candidates are selected on their entrance-exam results and their grades in the subjects relevant to the programme. The 61% threshold is worth mapping exactly: perfect Grammar plus a perfect Oral is 60 marks, one short of passing, so Reading and the Essay cannot be written off; and perfect Reading, Essay and Oral is also 60, so Grammar cannot be written off either.
English throughout: the English paper, the combined science paper and both oral components. No Bosnian language requirement applies to the entrance exam itself. The later clinical years are a separate question that SSST does not address in its admissions pages, so ask what it expects of international students on the wards before you commit.
SSST's call for 2026/2027, published on 10 June 2026, sets 70 places for General Medicine and 30 for Dentistry. SSST publishes no applicant volume and no acceptance rate, so any competition figure quoted elsewhere is an estimate rather than a university number. What is published is the structure of the opportunity: around twelve sittings a year, individual dates on request, results within five days, and an explicit right to re-sit.
Yes. SSST states the right to re-sit explicitly, and with around a dozen sittings a year plus individual dates on request, a second attempt is genuinely available rather than theoretical. One caveat: new applicants may apply for a scholarship if they have an excellent school record, pass the exam and score well at the interview (SSST's posted due dates are from 2020), so a weak first attempt can cost the chance of funding even where it does not cost a place.
What SSST itself states: its Sarajevo Medical School is registered in the World Directory of Medical Schools, and its students may sit USMLE Step 1 after completing the second year. The World Directory confirms the listing (FAIMER School ID F0003742), and its ECFMG note makes students and graduates from 2014 to the present eligible to apply for ECFMG Certification. The rest is general guidance, not an SSST statement. Bosnia and Herzegovina is an EU candidate country, not a member, so a graduate wanting to practise in an EU member state goes through that country's own procedure for recognising a non-EU qualification, case by case. UK-bound graduates go through UKMLA registration, and US-bound graduates need ECFMG certification (USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK and an English-proficiency requirement), like every international medical graduate. Within Bosnia and Herzegovina, licensing is administered separately by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by Republika Srpska and by Brčko District.
Yes. The IvyTest simulator runs SSST-format practice (timed 90-minute combined-science papers across biology, chemistry and physics in the option formats SSST actually uses, plus full English papers scored against the real 40/20/20/20 split and the 61% threshold) in timed, tutor and review modes, with a free diagnostic available without payment.
Yes, both. SSST's Entrance Exams page links free PDFs to download: four of its own Biology entrance exams from April and May 2014 (30 questions, 90 minutes each) and four Physics entrance exams from May and June 2014 (16 to 25 questions), plus a 15-question Biology sample, 150-question Biology and Chemistry practice sets, a 45-question Physics set and four English Language sample papers. None comes with an answer key. The 2014 Biology exams were separate 90-minute tests; today Biology shares one 90-minute paper with Chemistry and Physics, so use them for content, not timing.
SSST had not published its 2027 dates when IvyTest checked on 12 October 2026. For 2026/2027 entry it offered two sittings a month from April to September 2026, at 10:00 in Sarajevo, plus individual dates on request. Registration is online: SSST's call of 10 June 2026 took applications only through ssst.edu.ba, from 10 June to 15 September 2026, with the Application Form for Medical School. To book a sitting, choose one of the published dates or ask admissions@ssst.edu.ba for an individual one; candidates living outside Bosnia and Herzegovina can ask the Registry Office about the online procedure.
Its 2026/2027 call says it does. Candidates are selected on their entrance-exam results and their grades in the subjects relevant to the programme, and the preliminary rank list (rang-lista) of admitted and registered candidates is published on SSST's website and notice board at the latest two days after the last day of the entrance exam. Written objections go to the faculty's teaching and scientific council within three days, and it decides within three days; its decision is final. Separately, SSST emails each candidate's results and the admission decision within five days of the sitting.
SSST's 2026/2027 call is open to candidates with four years of secondary school in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or a school-leaving qualification from abroad recognised through nostrification or equivalence. You may apply and sit the exam before that recognition, but to enrol you need it, or proof that it is under way. With the online application you upload scans of your school certificates for each year, your diploma, your birth certificate and a certificate of citizenship, with court-certified translations for documents still being recognised. Late or incomplete applications are not considered, and every applicant must pass the English test at 61%.
Tuition for Medicine and for Dentistry is €13,200 a year for students who are not citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and €7,900 for citizens (KM 25,816.95 and KM 15,451.05 in the 2026/2027 call), and SSST says it covers the required course materials and books. Student loans arranged with banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina are repaid after graduation, with a grace period of up to four and a half years. New applicants may apply for a scholarship if they have an excellent school record, pass the exam and score well at the interview (SSST's posted due dates are from 2020). SSST publishes no application fee.
Medicine at SSST is a twelve-semester (six-year) programme in English leading to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. SSST's course list starts with Medical Biology, Medical Physics and Biophysics, Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry, Anatomy, and Medical English and Medical Terminology in year one, moves through Histology, Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacology to the clinical subjects of years four and five, and ends with clinical rotations in year six. Clinical training takes place at the Clinical Centre of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) and other partner institutions, plus 75 hours of summer practice.
SSST is short for Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. Its brochure says it opened in October 2004 in Sarajevo as the first private university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its Faculty of Medicine, Sarajevo Medical School, introduced the six-year Medical Doctor programme in English in 2014/2015 and now also runs Dentistry, Pharmacy and Health Studies. The campus is at Hrasnička cesta 3a, Sarajevo.
