HUMAT score calculator

Enter how many questions you got right and wrong in each section. The calculator marks the same answers twice, as Humanitas does: once for Medicine and Surgery and once for MEDTEC School, each with its own points per section and its own section minimums. Blank answers score zero.

How it compares with 2026/27

On the 2026/27 Medicine and Surgery lists, read on 17 October 2026, the last EU candidate admitted had 450 of 960 and the last non-EU candidate 640. Those were the first lists under today's format, and the EU list could still move as places freed up; the cut-off changes every year with the candidates.

HUMAT

How the HUMAT is marked

  • 60 questions in three timed sections of 20: Scientific Thinking & Academic Literacy, Biology & Chemistry, and Mathematics & Physics.
  • Medicine pays 22, 16 and 10 points for a right answer in those sections; MEDTEC pays 10, 16 and 22. A wrong answer loses a quarter of that, and a blank scores 0, so a blind guess gains nothing on average.
  • There is no overall pass mark, but every section has a minimum, and a candidate below any one of them is not ranked on that list.
